COREY BRAND

PARTNER

Corey has always seen real estate development as his journey. Growing up under the tutelage of the “greatest land broker” in Silicon Valley and working as a teen amongst Silicon Valley commercial development titans, it seemed inevitable to follow that path. In 1995, Corey joined the largest commercial real estate firm in Silicon Valley. Within five years, he was a Top 10 agent amongst all Silicon Valley agents while co-founding a development company. In 2002, he moved to Salt Lake City, and in 2004, he co-founded Schoolhouse Development. His real estate acumen and experience have been foundational to Schoolhouse’s success. Through the management and investment of the Brand Family Trust, we were the first ones to underwrite and invest in our ventures.

GLENN WAY

PARTNER

In 1996, Glenn Way was elected to the Utah State Legislature. During his tenure as a state representative, he served on the Education Appropriations Committee, the Business Labor Committee, and as chairman of the Judiciary Committee. In 2004, Glenn developed his first charter school project. Five years later, in 2009, he founded the American Leadership Academy in Arizona, which currently educates nearly 12,000 students. His legislative and educational experience strengthens Schoolhouse Development’s partnerships with charter school operators. Additionally, Glenn founded and serves as Director of Charter One, a charter management organization.
